The UN Mission in Afghanistan has expressed grave concern over the detention of three journalists by the country’s de facto authorities on unspecified charges.
According to media reports and human rights organizations, among those detained are the head of the Paigard news agency in Kabul and two employees of the first 24-hour TV channel in Afghanistan, TOLOnews.
The mission is also concerned about reports of attacks on journalists and confiscation of their property during searches, carried out by the de facto authorities.
