“For the first time, an Independent International Scientific Group on Artificial Intelligence was created, which included experts from around the world, and for the first time – on the principles of gender parity,” said Burbock. She called for “the same level of openness and public scrutiny to be maintained in the final stages of the selection and appointment process for the next Secretary-General.”
