As a result of last night’s attacks, residential areas in Lviv, Kiev, the suburbs of Krivoy Rog, and other parts of Ukraine were damaged, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Civilians, including children, were killed and injured. The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) clarifies that three children died in the village of Radushnoye, a suburb of Krivoy Rog.
It is also reported that at least seven children were injured in Lvov, as well as in the Kherson and Kyiv regions. Residential buildings and pre-school institutions were damaged.
Humanitarian workers together with rescue services provide emergency assistance to the victims.
“The civilian population and civilian objects are protected by international humanitarian law,” they recalled UKGV.
