Last night, Kyiv and surrounding areas were subjected to a large-scale attack. Civilians were killed and more than a dozen were injured, including a child.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also reports that houses and public infrastructure were damaged in many areas.
There is no electricity in some areas of Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Several other areas are experiencing water supply problems.
“Emergency services have responded to numerous fires and damage to buildings throughout the city,” OCHA said in a statement on Platform X.
Humanitarian organizations are providing medical assistance to affected families, emergency supplies, and emergency supplies repairs.
“Civilians and civilian infrastructure are not targets,” OCHA emphasizes.
