UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemns the attack in New Orleans, where a driver drove into a crowd of people celebrating the New Year. This statement was made by the press service of the UN chief.
According to reports, at least 15 people were killed in the incident, and more than 30 were injured.
Guterres expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Louisiana and the United States. The Secretary-General also wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
