Paris Agreement

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Paris Agreement. The document was approved by countries at the 21st Conference of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris in 2015. The Secretary-General called the agreement “a pillar of hope for humanity” and called on the global community to once again show the same courage as ten years ago. The UN chief stated the need to urgently step up actions to achieve the goals set by the agreement.
