Young people are willing to take risks

The energy and enthusiasm of the young entrepreneurs attending the summit was evident, eager to make the most of networking opportunities and seeking to meet with mentors, policy makers and potential investors as much as possible.

The official youth program included a series of interactive dialogues, innovative technology presentations and mentoring sessions. Young delegates presented cutting-edge solutions in the field of renewable energy, circular economy practices and digital production.

Forum events opened up new opportunities for direct communication between youth and political and industry leaders.

“We know how our people think generation”

In addition to the scary statistics and high failure rates among startups, a lack of experience can also be a barrier for young people. But that doesn’t stop Wu, who is convinced that young people’s initiatives are worth investing because they offer a unique perspective on the world.

“We grew up with computers, with the Internet, and we know how people interact with different types of content. We understand how our generation—the next big segment of the market—thinks, and that’s why we have an advantage over older generations,” says Wu.

By dedicating a full day to youth, the organizers of the Global Industry Summit sent a clear message to the world: the industry of the future will be defined not only by established leaders, but also by the creativity and determination of the next generation.
