UN humanitarian workers in Ukraine reported on Thursday a drone strike on a residential area of the city of Sumy, killing six people in an apartment building.
Several residents of the building were injured. Search and rescue operations continue. There may still be people under the rubble.
UN humanitarian workers brought materials to the scene to cover damaged windows, provided food to the victims and provided first aid to local residents who lost their homes as a result of the shelling.
Civilian infrastructure was reportedly damaged in the shelling in Donetsk Oblast, while at least three medical workers were injured and an ambulance was damaged in the strike on the town of Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast.
A school was shelled in Dniprovsk Oblast, and a hospital in Odessa Oblast.
