Destruction in Kharkiv after airstrike. Ukraine: Numerous shelling and destruction reported from Kharkiv region Peace and security
Since the beginning of November, dozens of civilians and first responders have been injured as a result of numerous attacks and shelling in Kharkiv region. According to local authorities and UN humanitarian partners in Ukraine, many residential buildings and commercial establishments have been damaged.
This was reported on Monday by the UN press service, citing the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Since the beginning of the month, according to this data, civilian casualties have been recorded in Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions.
In addition to the efforts of rescuers, humanitarian workers are providing first aid and psychological support to victims, as well as hot meals. Housing repair materials, warm blankets and solar lamps have been delivered to the affected areas. In Kyiv and Kherson, several national and international humanitarian organizations are distributing cash aid.
