On September 22, world leaders, civil society representatives and experts gathered at the UN headquarters for the Future Summit to work on pressing issues ranging from tackling rising sea levels to ending hunger. On Sunday, the Pact for the Future and its annexes, the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations were adopted by consensus.
